He studied design at AHO i Oslo and at Aalto in Helsinki, and studied technology management at NUS in Singapore. He lives in Moss with his wife and four children, and their Jack Russel terrier.

Christian works as a Design Manager at Ruter - the public transport authority in the Oslo and parts of Viken region. He oversees how the brand is used and how it contributes in all channels to make a cohesive overall customer experinence.

He has over 14 years of experience in managing design - is a graphic engineer by education, an information designer by heart and has the passion for cohesive and great user experiences.

Kjetil is an industrial designer with a master in interaction design from Umeå Design School and a PhD from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) 2011. The PhD deals with the innovative use of new technologies in design practice.

Kjetil has been part of several startups and has worked as an industrial and interaction deisgner for leading Norwegian companies. He has aso tutored students at master and bachelor level at AHO and held master courses at the Institute of Informatics a Oslo University.

Recently he has turned his interest towards the Norwegian maritime sector and is leading a multidisciplinary team that seeks to reinvent current ship bridges.

Ruter: Adapting to our customers' needs

Marius has been working in product management both nationally and internationally the last 15 years, and is the prime responsible for the survey Product in Norway.

He has always had an interest in how product management is integral to delivering delightful experiences to the users, and critical to achieving business goals.

He is currently Chief Product Officer at Aidn, a Norwegian health tech scale-up, scaling the product division 5x over the last year.

Previously, he was responsible for establishing product management and product design in Ruter, and where they launched the new digital products that is the new mobility solution for everyone in Oslo and Viken.

Before Ruter, he co-founded Nimber, a collaborative delivery platform that connects people who need to send something with people going that same way.

In our third episode, we are taking a close look at Ruter's design system. Ruter provides public transport to the greater Oslo region and already has a well-established brand, product, and design system.

Joining us from Ruter is design systems lead Sally Renshaw. She will be sharing how they have placed collaboration at the center of their design system. Enabling them to reach the ambition of providing sustainable freedom of movement for everyone.

Sally has over 10 years of experience in the field of service design. She loves to work as part of a big team and is a bit of a design system and Figma nerd.

Fabric: the cloth that binds us all together, the foundation of everything we build upon, or maybe it's just a catchy name that fits nicely alongside FINN? You decide.

For FINN, Fabric is an effort to fine-tune their design system, a spring cleaning of sorts, with the main areas of focus being:

Creating clearer, more structured design guidelines and documentation

Controlling what should and shouldn't be added to the design system

Creating a more collaborative environment for designers and developers

As the visual design team lead in FINN's UX department, Adi provides creative direction for the designers, and works together with the platform web team on Fabric, FINN's design system.

He spends most of his time fine-tuning FINN's UI design and shared design libraries, mentoring designers, and working with the rest of the UX leader group to create a fun and engaging environment for designers in FINN.

Martin is a design system nerd who has been working with design systems for several years. He started his design journey in-house at Gjensidige; he then tried out consultant life before joining Oda earlier this year. Martin believes that design systems are more than just components and guidelines, they’re just as much about people. His mission is to build relationships, not just components.

Zoë has been writing for tech companies in Norway for more than a decade, from tech documentation to marketing and advertising copy, to product strings, app store copy and everything in between. She is an advocate of narrative design in digital products and is passionate about voice. The founder and chair of the Oslo Writers League, she is also the pen behind the puns in Oda’s release notes.

Øyvind has worked as a front-end developer since the early days of internet in Norway. He started his career in Telenor and was also a consultant for over ten years before he joined Oda. Øyvind is passionate about good design and about creating a good front-end experience for customers, designers and fellow developers.
